The process of installing and authorizing your Pro Tools software can be quite confusing given the amount of steps involved. These detailed videos take you step by step through the entire process from the point of purchase, including activating your software, authorizing your iLok, as well as downloading and installation Pro Tools. Seems very strange to me that Avid/digidesign didn't thought about this.In this series of tutorial videos, we show you how to activate, install, manage, and authorize your Pro Tools software. I just wanted to have a "less old" computer but I'm now totally stuck with this (I just want to find a way to download the Pro Tools LE 8.0 version that's it). I just want to do the same from 7.3 to 8.0. I did an upgrade many years ago while buying the 7.3 upgrade (I had a 6.3 before) and it was easy to do. I found a 7.4 upgrade but it's not enough to go on iOS 10.5.8 (I need 8.0 or 8.0.1 maximum). upgrade my ProTools LE 7.3 version to 8.0 but I don't find anywhere to buy the upgrade to PT LE 8 version on Avid's website.

Not posible I don't have the CD and I don't even know if it's possible to downgrade an iOS (Guess it's complicated) decrease the version of MAC OS from 10.5.8 to 10.4 (tiger is compatible with my PT LE 7.3 version). With regards to the compabtibility grid given everywhere there are 2 solutions: I tried to install my PT LE 7.3 but of course it's not compatible with 10.5.8 (my digi002 is not taken into account, no firewire light, and I have a message error when lauching ProTools LE that says it's missing some files/drivers or somehting like that.) I just bought a second hand PorwerMAC G5 (the old G4 is now dead.) but it has iOS 10.5.8 on it. I had previously a old powerMAC G4 (iOS 10.3) with a Digi002 turning on a Pro tools LE 7.3 version. I dont' manage to solve a compatibility problem between my iOS and ProTools LE.
